Dubai Export Development Corporation (DEDC), the Dubai government body charged with promoting exports from the emirate, along with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade and three other high-level UAE delegation, have discussed potential partnerships with Turkey’s Ministry of Trade.
The United Arab Emirates has reinforced its bilateral ties with Turkey through a five-man UAE delegation at the recently concluded 77th Izmir International Fair, Turkey’s oldest trade fair.

DEDC discusses trade opportunities with South Africa |

The Dubai Export Development Corporation (EDC) has explored bilateral trade opportunities at a meeting with the South African Missions in the United Arab Emirates.
The discussions were attended by His Excellency Mr Abba Omar, Ambassador; Her Excellency Ms Agnes Nyamande-Pitso, Consul General; Mr Saed Al Awadi, Chief Executive Officer, EDC, and other officials.
“DEDC is working to expand trade opportunities with many markets, including South Africa which presents significant export opportunities for Dubai based businesses,” said Saed Al Awadi, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Export Development Corporation.

Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) companies have contributed 77.60 per cent in the 2007 non-oil foreign trades through Jafza, reaching AED74.6 billion. This is a 29.4 per cent increase compared to AED57.6 billion in 2006, revealed during the seminar conducted by the Dubai Export Development Corporation (DEDC), the Dubai government body charged with promoting exports from the emirate.

US $100 MILLION WORTH OF BUSINESS UNDER NEGOTIATION AT DIIPF |

UAE export business valued at some US $100 million is being negotiated at the Dubai Industrial Investment Partnership Forum (DIIPF), which runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre until Wednesday (February 6).
Dubai Export Development Corporation (DEDC), which has instigated the forum in conjunction with the Department of Economic Development and the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), says up to 100 top-level meetings between UAE exporters and buyers have been scheduled at the event. Some 250 industrialists have attended the forum – 100 more than the original estimate.
